This week we had parts inquiry from Norway and USA !

今週は、なんと北欧と米国で、欧米からの問い合わせです。

So, now we have Francs, Australia, Dubai, Norway and USA.

しかし、ところ変わればで、ファイルがテキストだったので、

By the way he was looking for the Front Dash bord Pad but we didnt make

"The left handle" AKA left driver side.

残念ながら問合せをいただいた左ハンドル用のダッシュパッドは作っていません、

ということで、ダッシュマットが登場！！大好評でした！！

But we have Dash Mat for Lefties too! picture is for right side driver.

This actually makes sense as it saves from sun heat damage for dash pad.

and if you need to hide that big cracks than pull this Dash mat over it!.

He was also looking for Front Lowered Coils for CROWN MS50 sedans.

You may noticed that cuting original coil to wanted lowered height is not easy

as coils loose its power against weight and shrink after while.

そして、フロントコイルが下がり過ぎてきた！ということでロワードコイルのご紹介です。

オリジナルコイルを切って下げるときは、しばらくするとコイルが弱くなった分

下がって来るので要注意です。特にM型の重いエンジンの場合は注意ですね。

And Here is KE from US, Nice looking. Some time we have questions for other than CROWN and we do have some KE and some sources.

By the way the CROWN Classics has KE engine parts too.

K1, K2, Gasket and some others too.

次は、米国です。今回KEですが、たまにKEも部品が舞い込んでいて

残っています。特にエンジン系の部品や、ごくたまにエンブレムなども。

写真も送ってもらいました、MS75のハードトップです。

The view from side and roof and rear quater has that unique looks

of this era.

まさに時代を感じる横からのショット。

And Rear with Tail lens that I think we have...　This time plan is to

restore an rebuilt the radaitor and Motor.

そして後ろ姿です。確かこのテールレンズがあったような、、、

今回は、ラジエター、エンジンなどOHするそうです。

そのうちドバイでこのクルマが走っていることでしょう。

Have you seen this oldest custom car show in Japan?

"The MOONEYES Street Car Nationals" on April 25th at Odaiba Tokyo.

This show is real fun as you can see nostalgic Japanese cars with original to full custom. Last year Show entry was over 800cars, 110 swapmeet booth, and 10,000people came to see it in oneday.

It is a great oppotunity to show your car and meet all people. Sell your left over parts and buy parts you are looking for at bargain price. I think its wild as I see so many people carrying parts they bout in hand and its pritty good things they have in hand.

for people living in Japan please make entry as early as possible to avoid space sold out before the dead line of March 31st.

さて、皆さん今週の大事なメッセージは、日本のカスタム　カー　ショー、

「ムーンアイズ　ストリートカー　ナショナルズ」です！

4月25日日曜、場所は昨年と同じお台場です！

昨年はエントリー800台、スワップ１１０件、1万人の来場でした。

今回早めのエントリーをお願いします。さすがにもう場所が広くなりませんので、

是非お早目にエントリーください、宜しくお願いいたします。

特にスワップミートは、近年ますます「熱く」なっていますね。

会場で皆さんが大事に持ち帰っている部品を見ながら、

「何あのホイル？！うわ～あんなのあったの？いいなーっ」て、最近よくあります。

I have talked about the CROWN MS-40s in France.

Well He was looking for 2M motor Head gasket and

I have found it in L.A. !!!

以前フランスにもクラウンがいるということで、

MS40系セダンを紹介いたしましたが、こちらの２Mエンジンの

ヘッドガスケットが必要になり、早速探したところ、

ありました！！なんと見つかったのは、LAでした！。

Here is picture of found Gasket kit for 2M !!!　Made in Japan.

and his CROWN 50 series sedan with V8.

見つかったのは、２Mのガスケットキット、日本製！

そして彼のクルマは、V8積んでいました！

Shifter actually fits well on center console.

Maybe good news to our friends in Australia...

結構このシフターが、違和感なく収まっていますよね？

オーストラリアの人にとっても朗報？かも知れません。

So this part has returned to Japan after 40years and

now its going to France !

I hope this Gasket will do the job in France.

最近は海外でクラウンを仕上げている方からのお問い合わせが増えています。

今回もオーストラリア行きです。

Genuine used parts for 50 series Air Conditioning !!!.

They are taken off from parts car and thats pretty much the best way

to find all parts you need to get them all done right !!

The Toyota CROWN originaly came with Auto Air Conditioning and Air Conditioning ,

Cooler for front, Cooler for rear.This one is Air Conditoning that fit under front dash.

This one is Air conditioning unit that has heater and cooler in one box.

５０系の純正エアコンユニットです。

もともと付いていないクルマに使えるように装着することを考えると、

部品取車から丸ごと外すのが一番パーツが揃う方法ですね。

クラウンは、オートエアコン、エアコン、フロントクーラー、リアクーラーの

設定があったそうです。

これは、エアコンで、ヒーターとクーラーが入って一体になっています。

自分が最初に手に入れた角ピックのお話をしていましたが、

最近ではオランダの丸セダンのお話など海外からの問い合わせが多く、

今回は、オーストラリアからです。

He has MS50 Pick with modification in progress.

we had inquiry for parts such as air conditioning taken out from parts car

and now we are working on center console with Automatic shifter.

I hope to see this car when finished as I am sure it will be nice.

He already have our new Repro dash board for his car and

he will have 1 piece front side glass from superdelux soon.

彼はＭＳ５０後期Pickのカスタム中で、純正のエアコンパーツを

部品取車から外して用意したりといろいろ問合せをいただいているのですが、

今回はセンターコンソールにＡＴシフト付きをご用意しました。

すでにリプロのダッシュボードも購入いただき、

彼のクラウンが出来上がるのを楽しみにしています。

フロントドアのガラスをスーパーデラックスの1枚ものに変えたりとか

いろいろ夢が広がっていくのですが、なんと彼は当時このようなセダンを

乗っていたそうです。昔懐かしの自分が乗っていたクラウンをもう一度！

ということです。しかもオーストラリアで！すごいことですね。

Wow !! The dead stock Libre Wheels and Goodyear Blue streaks are for sale!!!

13x7.5, 14x7.5, some size variation in stock for now,

but please dont expect them to be here for long !!

watch out for people who hasnt seen this one before, its 4 hole !!!

But this tire is really my favorite and I think they go well with old CROWN.

I found picture of Pick up with this tire, which is at bottom of this page !!!

リブレホイルが絶版GYタイヤとセットで販売中です。

13x7、14x7.5などサイズもいまのところまだ数種類あるようです。

気になる方はお早目に！（でもこのホイルは、4穴ですからね！！）

気なるのは、このタイヤです！！

クラウンにはくと、かなりかっこ良いです。

More message last week, RS40L Sedan from Netherland.

Wow !! We call this Round tail, the body style code that

people usualy call in Japan has names with unique body parts.

one before this style is called tear drop, which has round tail and reverse on bottom

that looks like a tear drop only its upside down though.

Anyway, its great to know Crown is getting recovered in all over the world !!!

ＣＲＯＷＮＣｌａｓｓｉｃｓも海外からのメッセージが増えて、

先週は、　　からメールがありました。

ＲＳ４０Ｌ、丸のセダン！レストア中だそうです。

すごい！ちなみに日本では、丸テールと言って、またその前が涙目ですよと

書いていますが、海外でもクラウンを路上復帰に励んでいる人の話を聞く

CROWN Clssics has considered about making weather strips before.

Yes, Vent window weather strips for front door that everyone ask for.

we never made it to sell as no sample to make perfect thing and

it leaks when rains hard and water can not be sealed.

But I guess its better than nothing.

We have to consider again about making it, only if people understand it will not be

a perfect seal against the water....

The only part available now is Rear window seal for RS40.

Last issue was how I went all the way to Akita Northern Japan and

on the way back from purchasing CROWN. (To Be Continued at below)

前回までは、秋田までやっとの思いで行ったCROWN　PICK購入の旅でした。

今回は、その帰り道のお話です。

さっそうと歩いてきた青い制服の人は、開口一番で、

「三角反射板など後方に警告をするすべがない、＝切符+罰金！」

なんと、切符を切られました。

しかも、ついでのように、「この近くの解体屋さんは、、、、」と

聞いていないのに、JUNKYARDに道順が始まり、廃車にしないとわかると、

「あ～、そうなの。でも、もうそろそろ買い換えたほうがいいんじゃないの？」

「い～え、むしろ買ったばっかりです。」

さて、大変な話の続きはまた次回に！

The Man in Blue uniform walked straight up to me and said

"No emergency Triangle reflecting sign !, Ticket and Fine.!"

cant believe I got ticket, I thought he was talking to himself.

No concern about situation and he went on,

"The nearest Junk yard is.... "

He tried to give me direction to Junk yard, after realizing it as not to be junked.

"Oh really, but arent you better buy new one? it's about time isnt it ?"

"No, I just bout it"

Well, hard story will continue on next issue!.

ちなみに、そのころは路上復帰が大変すぎて、それどころではなかったのですが、

やっぱり３Ｒ・５Ｒのエンジンには、この部品を付けるのが憧れでした。

I didnt have room for my self as getting that pick up back on road was so much.

but this parts was my dream for 3R/5R engine.

　　　　　　　　　　　　　

It is famous MOON aluminum finned Valve cover and spanned Aluminum

air cleaners. I should say that I rather had room for my self to have these

kind of nice parts on my car! For people who does, I strongly recmend.

May be you might make some one intreseted in these cars, you never know.

フィンドバルブカバーとスパンアルミのエアクリーナーです。

むしろつけているくらいの余裕が欲しいという感じでしたが、、、

出来上がっている方にはぜひ！

もしかしたらその姿を見て、Ｃｌａｓｓｉｃなクラウンを好きになる人が

増えるかもしれませんよ！

ところで、先週載せた３Ｒガスケットセット、今週購入いただきました。

本牧Area-1に来店いただきました！ありがとうございました。

ちなみにクラウンは、？？台もお持ちです。

By the way, 3R Gasket set which I listed last week,

1set was sold this week at MOONEYES Shop in Honmoku.

BTW, he has many CROWNs, who know how many.

May be I should ask him next time, if he knows for sure...

そうです、パリのフランスです。 角テールのセダンです。

ちょっとだけ画像をいただきました。

まるで日本の森と言われればわからないようなバックですが、

ナンバープレートは、おフランスです。

My First CROWNを手に入れるために秋田まで

夜行バスに乗っていった！というところまで前回お話しました。

今回その続きです。

Last issue was up to How I went to Akita on bus all night

to get my first Toyota CROWN.

this issue starts from there.

やっと見つけたクラウン角ピックを手に入れて、初めて必要になった部品はこれでした。

3R エンジン ガスケットキット!/3R Gasket Kit!

This is the first parts I needed after I got my first CROWN !

それは、東北から自走して帰る途中のお話でした。

「どっか～ん」という音、、もくもくと上がる白煙、、、窓の外は真っ白！！！

東北自動車道で、エンジンブロー！！！

It was on the way back from Northern Japan to Yokohama!!

sound of "Booom", white smoke up in air, cant see nothing but smoke in front.

engine blew up on Tohokudo East Northern highway.

速やかに左に向かって流れ、初路肩停車。

するとパトカーが前のほうに止まり、さっそうと青い制服の人がやってきました。

なんせ携帯もない時代ですから、真っ白な煙がもくもくと上がる画像もありませんが、

路肩にある非常電話で助けを呼ぶ手間も省けて、タイミングよかった！と、

思っていたのですが、、、

I quickly sway to side and parked on gutter for first time.

Then black and white highway patrol car stoped a head of me and

man in blue uniform came to rescue.

It was time with no cell phone, so no picture of white smoke,

but I thought I was lucky that I dont have to call for a help on

those emergency phone on side of road.
